Hi. When you enter the Forum at Board Index level, you see a list of the main areas. When daveosea popped in a month ago, I was the creator of the last post in each (the column on the right). I tend to post a lot, as I mentioned above.

My lender adds interest each month based on the current rate, so each payment is based on interest of current balance plus a portion of the loan amount, so the overall balance diminishes each month (and it's well under half what is was 14.5 years ago, 10.5 years to go! All left is repayment type,...

I’d like to try this as we have foraging wildlife during the night I’d like to photograph. How successful has it been? It's OK. The camera kit was £34.50 and the power bank was £6.99. The night camera for the Pi is £14.

Thanks for the links James - hard to believe people make money out of apps like those  but they obviously do! Jonah - that's a good idea and it's easier and cheaper! By the way, was it you who put up a video of a Mustang trip along the California coast? Can't find it here, but may have been...

A wide angle lens will give a larger depth of field, but you may need to increase distance - camera to object and then increase image size on computer. Back in the film age I had a Canon with a 35mm lens which was sharp from about 3metres to infinity at stop f8. The standard lens 55mm gave no where...

I think France will win Probably 4:2 :) I was round at my French inlaws yesterday, they enjoyed the game. I think overall it was a good tournament although I had Belgium down to win.

If as you say you've recovered just over 2 GB from a card which is supposed to be 2 GB in size, you can hardly expect anything else. If you have lost images it seems they were never saved properly on the card in the first place, or overwritten in error, which implies to me that your camera may have...

Sorry Gail and Mike for the confusion and thank you Paw and Loughor for the understanding and correction. I just didn't want to high jack the original thread with what is essentially two mates catching up on the departure of Ramaprem from M4M forums. Thanks again for your understanding, peeps.

I was just looking at my iPad in landscape mode and it occurred that I use it with the Home button on the right. I've seen people use it left button-wise. They are wrong, of course (wink). Unless they are left handed. I’m right handed but I’ve always used my iPad with the home button on the left :D...

A worthy cause I’m sure but, being of that certain age where probability rises, I was under the impression testing wasn’t so clear cut and benefits less well defined. The tests themselves can be problematic and unreliable. This from the NHS pages ‘The most commonly used tests for prostate cancer...
