I don't know if anyone else watched the September 2018 Live Event, but I found it impressive and certainly had more on offer than events in previous years. https://www.apple.com/uk/I must say that I'm at last tempted to move on from my Apple Watch Series 1 which I've had for just over two years and has become increasingly irreplaceable (my Omega still resides in a drawer!). Disappointingly, the GiveBack service is only prepared to give me £50 for it so I will have to use the services of eBay. The Series 4 offers so much more, especially in the Health area (and some of us are rapidly getting much older!). I'm super-impressed that it can even take an ECG, and call the emergency services in the event of a fall! It is inevitable that we pay £££ for $$$ though, but I still think that £430 is a reasonable price for an incredible watch. What does anyone else think? Lorimer

I mentioned it in the Mundane thread. I too would love a 4. If anyone wants to give me £100 for my series 2 then I would without hesitation. The extra screen size is not that great but my eyes appreciate the differences in that area. Whether as an old git I'll start falling over remains to be seen so I can't justify on those grounds. I use the Health app as much as I can. Who wants my Watch?

But Lougher, I consider that Event to be anything but Mundane! Sorry if you already started a thread. Lorimer

I was just back to edit my post and ^ appeared. Trade in for mine is £75. Nor my iPhone 8 Plus for £350. They are really stingy. I wouldn't let it/them go for that little. Well, not unless I had just trousered a multi-rollover lottery win.
No, I just mentioned I wanted the shiny new stuff in a mundane way. It wasn't meant to be a discussion.
I was a bit surprised there was nothing for other hardware.

Try Music Magpie for trade in values. My son got £352.00 for his iPhone 7 Plus. All the other sites were giving around £260.
I just went onto the site and put a Series 2 42mm aluminium case into the search box and they said they would give £130 for a good condition Watch.

Nice.
I'm offering mine around my extended family at the mentioned price. Or to anyone, really.

I don't think there's a camera in the Watch – yet!!
And I ordered a 44mm Silver non-celullar aluminium watch this morning. The month's delivery delay is disappointing though...

Yes I saw that delivery delay this morning. I just decided to get the thing and worry about my S2 after. I might wait until Friday and see what Curry's or JL can do.
Regarding these trade-in sites, I checked the offer on Mazuma to compare - £60. Criminals. That's even less than Apple.
