Just for you MB, I enabled Siri on my iPad and went to a quiet room where other devices couldn't hear
I asked your exact question and got told the forecast and a thing popped up in the lower right.

For about 2 years, I've asked Siri for the overnight weather before going to bed and was shown a table on the screen showing hour-by-hour the temperature and conditions (and a general voice-over too). A few days ago it stopped and rebooting didn't fix it. Siri DOES respond to "what's the weather?", but it's just a vague general report for roughly the next half day, not an hourly forecast. In case it's the Apple servers and not my iPad, could you do a brief experiment for me please? Ask Siri this precise question and report back what you get in response, thanks: "What's the weather for the next eleven hours?" |

Instead of asking Siri for the weather, why not ask Siri to open your weather app of choice? |

It seems Apple ditched their weather app for a widget in iPadOS 15. I had not realised until now. I have Dark Skies and the BBC app myself. |

"Is there any way to widen a widget so I can see the whole clock face?" Good luck with that. But some of my widgets come in several sizes, but I think not several formats - as you would like. |
