It has long been a complaint that users have: following an update to one's iOS device, the battery drains unusually quickly.

Here is what Apple says about this situation:
"It's normal for your apps and features to need to adjust up to 48 hours after an update."

Of course, it is possible that additional features – not previously installed – are the cause of some of this battery drainage. And I suppose that some, or many, users find this problem lasting far longer than 48 hours.

Just quoting Apple. Just sayin'.
