Three iPhones: 5S(iOS 12), 7(iOS15) and an 8(iOS16). This is what I get when connecting any of them to my MBA(MacOS 11.7.8).

Anyone have any ideas?

They all connect to Photos, and pictures can be downloaded to the MBA.

PS. Just connect the 5S to my old MBP(via iTunes) and all is good.
