Hello gang,

I am getting more frustrated when accessing YouTube videos I have to watch stupid adverts before I can watch the video I want. Especially on the iPhone, when away from home and paying for wireless access, it really annoys me! Is there any ad blocker for the iPhone YouTube videos? One for the desktop too would be good.

Cheers,

Hippo

I presume the silence means none available?

Sorry, if a Google search turned up nothing then there's your answer.

Ah that's a shame, because inevitably my Google searches are fruitless but my Forum requests turn up pure gold solutions. Oh well, back to the pain of downloading trite and tedious ads with my iPhone YouTube videos!

Just an idea, maybe this will work?

http://glimmerblocker.org/wiki/iPhoneiPodProxy Only works over your wifi and if your Mac's on, but worth a try.

Oooh, nice idea, hadn't noticed that, will try that out for home network use.

Cheers
