Well done Wales. I thought Ukraine were better overall but them's the breaks.

Another less than convincing performance by England. Seems they are on a downward path at his time. Maybe they are getting the bad games of the way before the World Cup... see, I have a sense of humour

I'm hoping that England are getting the losses out of the way before Qatar. They are not playing too well at the moment. As a back seat manager, I don't know why some of the players get selected at all.
Maybe they'll win now I complained.

Southgate has his favourites.

England did better than I thought.
Wales (still first half) are achieving less than the local hype. I can't see them getting past the first stage unless they get a proverbial rocket up their "exhaust vents".

Chap playing for Morocco by the name of En-Nesyri. Yes, I'm getting false activations when he gets mentioned by the commentator.

Fair to say that Wales were second best, especially in the second half. They'll be home soon.

England were awful against USA. Phil Foden must be wondering what he has to do to get on the pitch. How Mount stayed on all game is beyond me.

Those Qatari pitches are cutting up. All sorts flying up from boots. Close up, they look rough, like the grass roots are not binding the substrate because they are not established.
Also, England were not great against Wales. I don't know how some of those players ever got selected. Maybe they have dirt on the manager.

There's something satisfying as a neutral (albeit a bit mean) seeing Brazil go out.

If I was a gambling person, I'd put something on England to lose. If I had a bet on score, I'd go with 3-1. I'd rather they won but I can't see it. I wouldn't know how to place a bet

Bye, Mr Ronaldo, I'm so glad you are gone. Also, Morocco really deserved it.

Well I had the winners but not the score. No coconut/cigar/£millions/etc.
The referee wasn't that clever but not as poor as some of the ones we've seen.

I only half watched the match due to being at a Christmas do with a free bar.
Thought England were unlucky to lose but didn’t really seem like they did enough to win.
Kane’s second penalty injured a seagull apparently!
